About this portal
This portal will help employers source information about the excellence of the Scottish Skill infrastructure, and availability of provision. This will enable companies and intermediaries looking to locate and invest in Scotland to identify availability of their workforce on a regional and Scotland wide basis, and to similarly source provision to skill, upskill and cross skill their future workforce. The portal will be of equal benefit to Scottish based employers wishing to upskill or reskill current and new employees.
To use this portal you can select a range of options from keyword search to searching by occupation, job title or regions. You can search by courses or workforce data. This portal also provides course level comparisons at a global level to allow companies not aware of Scottish qualification levels to compare with those in whichever geography they are based.
Results can be viewed in more detail by clicking individual hits – summary information will then be displayed together with relevant contact details.
At any point, click the ‘Reset Search’ button to return to the original page and to start a new search.
N.B. this portal provides information on the relevance of different courses to different sectors and occupations. It takes no account of the experience that may be necessary to fulfil the requirements of a specific occupation.
